Privacy notice

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Cerla Ltd is responsible for your personal information. This notice explains how we use it when you visit this website, join the beta waiting list, or contact us.

The beta waiting list

We ask for your email address so we can tell you when Cerla’s free beta is available. Providing it is optional, but we need it to add you to the list. We do not ask for your name, trading strategies, or trading-account details.

We send a confirmation email. You join the active waiting list only when you click its confirmation link. We keep your email address, signup and confirmation dates, subscription status, and a record of the consent wording shown to you.

We use your consent to send beta-availability emails. Joining does not subscribe you to progress updates, a general newsletter, or third-party offers. You can withdraw consent at any time using an email’s unsubscribe link or by contacting hello@cerla.io. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.

Contacting us and keeping the service secure

If you email us, we use your address and message to reply. We do this for our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about Cerla.

Our hosting and form providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information, and request times, to deliver the site, prevent spam, and investigate faults or abuse. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service. Where processing is required by law, we rely on that legal obligation.

Providers we use

We use EmailOctopus, operated by Three Hearts Digital Ltd, to manage the waiting list and send its emails; Amazon Web Services to host the website; and a business-email provider to receive and reply to enquiries. The signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. These services and their necessary service providers process information for those purposes.

We do not sell your information or share the waiting list for another organisation’s marketing. We may disclose information where required by law.

Processing outside the UK

Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Transfers rely on UK adequacy regulations where applicable, or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. You can request details or a copy of the relevant safeguards by emailing hello@cerla.io.

How long we keep information

Deleted data may remain in provider backups until they are overwritten; EmailOctopus’s backup period is up to 90 days. Backups are not used as active mailing lists.

Cookies and email tracking

We do not use advertising trackers or visitor analytics on this holding page, or track email opens and link clicks to measure engagement. Confirmation and unsubscribe links record your choice so we can manage the list.

Google reCAPTCHA uses browser or device information and a security cookie to help distinguish genuine signups from automated abuse. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. We do not use these security checks to target advertising.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

You also have the right to object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, and an absolute right to object to direct marketing.

Contact hello@cerla.io to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint without contacting us first.

We do not use your information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We will update this notice if our processing changes and bring material changes to your attention where appropriate. Changing this notice does not turn permission for beta-availability emails into permission for a broader newsletter or unrelated marketing.
